Customs will hold public open days at Hong Kong Customs College on November 30 and December 1 to celebrate the department’s 110th anniversary.

There will be different theme zones to showcase the department’s development history, various professional duties and achievements.

The open day programme includes a performance by the Customs & Excise Band, silent drills, demonstrations by detector dogs, advanced equipment on display, visits to the Professional Development Training Block and the outdoor firing range, and performances by customs officers and uniformed groups.

The department said the event will provide the public with an opportunity to better understand its work and personnel training.
