Fire Weather Warning
for the Northern WA fire weather district

Issued at 2:48 pm WST on Tuesday 5 November 2019.

Weather Situation

Dry and very hot conditions with fresh easterly winds and a fresh afternoon sea breeze in the west.

For Wednesday 6 November:

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
West Pilbara Coast

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
West Kimberley Coast, Kimberley Inland, East Pilbara Coast, East Pilbara Inland, Ashburton Inland, Exmouth Gulf Coast and North Interior

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises you to:

  • Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
  • Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station, www.dfes.wa.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au.
  • Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
