The opening of a 3G football pitch and a Sikh awareness event are events in the Mayor’s Diary for the coming week.

Tuesday 29 October – The Mayor will cut the ribbon at the opening of the Ghurka Durbaar Restaurant on Broadway between 5pm and 7pm.

Wednesday 30 October – The Mayor and Deputy Mayor will attend an event with the SEND competition winners in the Mayor’s Parlour between 10am and 11.30am. This will see the winning design of the artwork which will take pride of place in the Customer Care Centre unveiled.

Saturday 2 November – The Deputy Mayor will attend Netherton Friendship Club’s Christmas Sale at St Andrew’s URC Church between 10am and 12pm.

Saturday 2 November – The Mayor will give a brief speech thanking the Football Association at the opening of the 3G Football Pitch at the Nene Community Centre between 10.30am and 12pm.

Saturday 2 November – The Mayor will give a speech at the Nagar Kirtan Sikh awareness event in Cathedral Square between 1pm and 2pm.

Saturday 2 November – The Mayor and Deputy Mayor will attend the Year 11 Gourmet Café at Jack Hunt School between 6pm and 8pm.
