The Senator added that in some regions such agencies are already established, their experience positive. “However, local authorities do so at your own risk because the law procedure of organization of sobering-up stations are not regulated and existing practices sometimes contradict the current legislation”.The MP stressed that the relevance of the initiative according to data of the Ministry of interior, according to which annually in the country dies from hypothermia on the streets about 8-10 thousand people in a state of alcoholic intoxication. In addition, being helpless, they often become victims of crime.Earlier, the Government of the Russian Federation also supported the bill subject to the observations. In particular, clarification is needed as to the legal status of the specialized agencies as non-medical organizations, the legal basis for the direction and content of persons in a state of intoxication, and to determine the types of assistance that will be there. According to Valery Ryazansky, the senators are ready to modify the initiative taking into account the comments of the government Commission.
