Zagreb (Oct. 3/19). The Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia in Austria, Miguel Camilo Ruíz Blanco, presented the credentials before the President of the Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, and advanced an agenda with various authorities in this European country.

During the conversation with the Croatian authorities, Ambassador Ruíz reported on the efforts made by Colombia to respond to the multidimensional crisis in Venezuela and highlighted Colombia’s interest in reaching a peaceful solution through the restoration of democracy and constitutional normalization, This whole process accompanied by the international community.

Additionally, during his visit to Croatia, the Colombian Ambassador met with officials of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and the Ministry of Interior.

In these meetings, Ambassador Ruíz referred to the need to take advantage of the opportunities arising from the Multiparty Trade Agreement between the European Union and Colombia and Peru and to establish projects in the field of innovation, entrepreneurship and ICTs.
