FARGO – U.S. Senator and Senate Veterans Affairs (VA) Committee member Kevin Cramer (R-ND) toured the Fargo VA with VA Secretary Robert Wilkie this morning.
“North Dakota takes care of its veterans better than anywhere in the country. We highly value patriotism, and the excellent work being done in Fargo is a reflection of that,” said Senator Cramer. “I appreciate the opportunity to host Secretary Wilkie as he visits Fargo’s VA offices and sees firsthand the excellent work being done here.”
Senator Cramer and Secretary Wilkie began the tour by visiting the Fargo VA Medical Center where they met with physicians and veterans receiving care. They then received leadership briefings and a tour of the Fargo VA Regional Office from local VA officials.
During the tour, the Secretary and Senators also participated in coin recognition ceremonies honoring outstanding workers at the Fargo VA.
“I was honored to spend time with these incredible public servants and to see them get the recognition they deserve,” said Senator Cramer.
