Bogotá (Sep. 22/19). Gordana Prelčec Sermek, Deputy Head of the Croatian Mission accredited in Brasilia and Mauricio Restrepo Gómez, Honorary Consul of Croatia in Colombia, chaired an academic activity, which included a Croatian cultural exhibition, at the headquarters of the Augusto Ramírez Ocampo Diplomatic Academy of the Chancellery.

The theme of the first session was the opportunities for understanding between Colombia and Croatia, dictated by the Deputy Head of the Croatian Mission accredited in Brasilia, in the company of the Honorary Consul.

In this same space, Professor Martha Goenaga de Bedout, Adviser to the Croatian Consul, presented her dissertation: “History of a citizenship, 100 years later”, heard by the students of the Diplomatic and Consular Training Course 2019.

On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mauricio Cuervo, Minister Plenipotentiary, Coordinator of Academic Cooperation, received the special guests.

At the closing of the presentation an artistic exhibition was carried out by Ludovica Marotti Koporcic, the first Croatian resident in Colombia. Likewise, a glass of wine was offered and attendees were offered a tasting of croissants from Croatian cuisine, offered by the Honorary Consul.

The activity took place last Tuesday, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia.
