Thus, today all power plants that have approved fuel reserve standards fulfill the calculated indicators, “said the Deputy Minister. In his report, Andrei Cherezov highlighted the situation with power facilities in Vorkuta.” Two large and important electric power plants are being implemented in the Komi Republic projects: reconstruction of the Vorkuta Central Exhibition Complex with its transfer to natural gas burning, the completion date is for the upcoming heating season, as well as the reconstruction of the Vorkuta CHP-2 with the transfer for the burning of natural gas, which is due to be completed by 2020, ”added the Deputy Minister. Andrei Cherezov recalled that Mayakovskaya, Talakhovskaya and Pregolskaya TPPs were introduced in the Kaliningrad region. With the commissioning of three gas power plants, the energy system of the Kaliningrad region became independent of export-import electricity supplies, increased its maneuverability and reliability. “From May 22 to May 25, 2019, the operation of the energy system of the Kaliningrad region in an isolated mode was successfully conducted. During the tests, there were no shortcomings in the operation of the generating, electric grid equipment and emergency control complexes, ”said the Deputy Minister.
