Source: Koerber FoundationOn the 20th of September, the fifth MINT: Barcamp will take place in the Hamburg KörberForum. MINT networkers from all over Germany are invited to exchange views, discuss STEM issues and get to know best practice. This year’s focus will be on the “digital skills”: How can information technology be taught locally? Which practical examples for creative examination of digital technologies are there? How can schools be supported in the implementation of the Digital Pact? Together, the participants want to find answers and get to know solutions. The topic is of particular interest: Since mid-August, the event has been fully booked with 150 guests. Now there are only a few places left on the waiting list. In terms of content, it also promises to be exciting. There have already been 10 suggestions for so-called sessions, short workshops of 45 minutes each. The topics include different aspects of digitization, the promotion of girls and young women, in particular through role models and mentors, but also concrete practical ideas. The preparation and realization of the event takes place in cooperation with the foundation Bürgermut.
