22.08.2019 The Department of economic and social action is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Roland Nötzel as a delegate to the domicile. The decisions taken early this year in the areas of taxation, land use and mobility are going to permanently enhance the attractiveness of residential township. The new position created by the Council of State is part of this positive dynamic and aims to deploy a strategy for the promotion of the direct debit. M. Nötzel will take office on October 7, 2019. 54 years old, married and the father of three children, Mr. Roland Nötzel, bilingual French-German, German-is specialized in the development of people and organisations and works as an independent consultant for several years. Holder of a licence in economic sciences from the University of Neuchâtel, Mr. Roland Nötzel can assert very broad expertise in it management, having worked in executive positions at L’oréal, Novartis, and Kraft Jacobs Suchard in the course of his rich career. It is also responsible for courses in marketing, communication, innovation and leading teams in several high schools. As a delegate to the standing orders, Mr. Roland Nötzel will be responsible to define and implement a strategy to promote the domiciliation in the Canton of Neuchâtel, with the support of the government services concerned and in bringing together a network of public and private actors around this theme. The State Council is delighted to be able to count on the experience and the personality of Mr. Roland Nötzel to meet this important challenge to the position of delegate to the domicile and work to enhance the attractiveness of the canton and its influence by the promotion of its framework conditions.
