The senator drew attention to the fact that currently 17 priority investment projects are being planned and implemented in the agro-industrial complex of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with an expected investment of more than 49.2 billion rubles. According to him, the Krasnoyarsk Territory is the leader among the subjects of the Siberian Federal District in terms of the amount of state support allocated for the development of the agro-industrial complex.

At the same time, Alexey Mayorov stressed that a significant problem in increasing the volume of exports of agricultural products is the remoteness of the Krasnoyarsk Territory from seaports and border railway stations, which causes a high cost of agricultural products for international shipments. Transportation costs can reach 30–40 percent. from the final cost. This situation requires a decision, in connection with which the Government of the Russian Federation is recommended to consider the possibility of providing subsidies to Russian organizations engaged in the transportation of agricultural and food products from points of departure located in the territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of the region’s ecology. The atmosphere from the pollution sources receives more than 2.6 million tons of pollutants annually. Taking into account that Krasnoyarsk and Norilsk are participating in the federal project “Clean Air” of the national project “Ecology”, it was proposed to recommend the Government of the Russian Federation to consider allocating additional budget allocations to the budget of the Krasnoyarsk Territory as part of this federal project to implement measures aimed at reducing polluting emissions substances in the air. Krasnoyarsk Territory – one of the largest forest regions of the country. The most important factor in the preservation of its forest fund is the fight against forest fires. In order to ensure the quality of forest supervision, fire supervision in forests and countering illegal logging, the meeting recommended that the Ministry of Natural Resources consider Russia to include measures to increase the number of forest inspection inspectors in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2020.
