Oberägeri: Rescuers insulted and attacked

After a medical emergency, a 42-year-old attacked and insulted members of the ambulance staff and several police officers. He is reported for violence and threats against officials.

On Monday evening (24 June 2019), shortly after 21:15 clock, deployed forces of the Zug police moved to a residential district in Oberägeri due to a message from the rescue service. The ambulance service requested reinforcements, as the man to be treated behaved restituted. When the heavily intoxicated patient saw the patrol, he fled and was stopped shortly thereafter. He made considerable resistance and was killed against several police and a staff of the rescue service train. The restless man was finally tied up and transferred to the hospital. Throughout the incident, he verbally abused the officials and threatened.

The 42-year-old is responsible for violence and threats against officials before the prosecutor of the Canton of Zug.
