Detectives from the Special Crimes Investigation Section of the Public Protection Branch have arrested a man following an investigation into historical sex offences.
The 39-year-old from the northern suburbs was arrested on Saturday 11 May and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, seven counts of rape, three counts of unlawful detention, three counts of aggravated unlawful threats, one count of theft, one count of possess firearm without a licence and one count of illegal use of a motor vehicle.
Police will allege the offences occurred in 2008.
The man was refused bail and appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court yesterday where he was remanded in custody to reappear on 27 September.
