EMERCOM rescuers from Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur took part in a regional training camp for diving training. Divers of the Far Eastern Regional Search and Rescue Team of the Emergencies Ministry of Russia have chosen a place for spring gathering on the slope of the Mao Chan ridge in the Sunny district of the Khabarovsk Territory.

For 10 days, divers improved their skills in underwater orienteering, conducting pair descents, searching for sunken objects and lifting them to the surface of the water.

For the slopes prepared two holes at a distance of 50 meters from each other. Dives were performed daily. In pair descents, movements under water from one ice hole to another were worked out using an underwater compass. Each dive was carefully monitored.

In total, during the training, 203 descents were carried out, of which 149 to a depth of 20 meters and 54 to a depth of 40 meters. Diving dues of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are held quarterly, rescuers improve practical skills for conducting search and rescue operations using diving technology.
