The training of tankers in the Urals introduced new computer and dynamic simulators. The instructors of one of the largest in the Ground Forces training center, located in the village of Yelansky near Yekaterinburg, before enrolling in a new stream of cadets completed driving and firing trainings for the tank.

The program includes a complete control cycle from a virtual T-72 tank to a real multi-ton machine. More than 200 instructors will train young servicemen for six months from January, most of whom are called after graduation from a technical school or institute.

Cadets are trained in 16 specialties: driver, gunner operator and commander of a combat vehicle, reconnaissance, signalman and others. The six-month course will end with the final exams and qualifications.

Every year, the Elansky District Training Center trains more than 6,000 junior specialists for the Russian Ministry of Defense and other security agencies.
