This year, 12 modernized multifunctional robotic demining complexes “Uran-6” will be delivered to the units and military units of the engineering troops of central and district subordination.

The robotic complex comes with a new transportation platform – a four-axle KamAZ equipped with a multi-lift system. “Uranium-6” is located on a special platform, which with the help of a hydraulic drive down from the chassis to the ground and just as quickly rises back. The whole process takes 3-4 minutes.

The Uran-6 complex, weighing up to six tons on a light tracked platform, is intended for making passages in mine explosive barriers and areal mine clearance of territories. When clearing an area of explosive objects, it eliminates the direct contact of sappers with ammunition in the course of work on their detection and preparation for destruction.
