Fire Weather Warning
for the West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula and Lower South East forecast districts
Issued at 4:19 pm CDT on Thursday 10 January 2019.
Hot to very hot and very dry with northeast to northwest winds, becoming windy in the west ahead of a gusty southwest to southerly change moving across the west and south during the afternoon and evening. Areas of raised dust in the west.
For Friday 11 January:
Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts:
West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula and Lower South East
The Country Fire Service advises you to:
- Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
- Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station, www.cfs.sa.gov.au, and www.bom.gov.au.
- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
