Credit: Divulgação / MTurMinas Gerais is the tenth state to receive the itinerant action of Prodetur + Turismo, a program that has R $ 6 billion for the structuring of Brazilian destinations. During the Mining Meeting of the Directors of Regional Tourism Governance Instances in Belo Horizonte, the general coordinator of Territorial Tourism Planning of the MTur, Eduardo Madeira, presented the line of credit of the Ministry of Tourism, attended public sector managers and businessmen and raised questions about projects that are preparing to access the financing. According to Madeira, during the meeting, the state confirmed interest in the expansion of the Travel market, with initiatives to take advantage of the tourist vocation of the municipalities of Minas Gerais and foment the generation of jobs. “Regional governance bodies are important pillars in the implementation of Prodetur + Turismo, as they integrate projects and support the municipalities that are calling for the Seal + Tourism,” said Madeira. The Selo + Turismo is a stamp of approval of the MTur for proposal aligned with the directives of the National Policy of the sector. In addition to Minas Gerais, the Program has already been presented in nine other Brazilian states: Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Mato Grosso South, Mato Grosso, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte and Amazonas. To date, the proposals under analysis amount to R $ 3.8 billion in 91 projects submitted to the MTur. Of these, R $ 530 million are lawsuits in the Southeast region. The funds are destined to finance public and private tourism infrastructure in Brazil, as well as actions to promote destinations, information to the tourist and studies of planning and market diagnoses. Prodetur is eligible for tourism companies of any size, individual microentrepreneurs, foundations , associations, cooperatives, entities, clubs, public bodies and prefectures of the 3,285 municipalities that are part of the Tourism Map, a prerequisite for entry into the program.PRODETUR + TOURISM – The Ministry of Tourism instituted the National Program for Development and Structuring of Tourism through port number 74, April 2018. The objective is to provide resources for the structuring of Brazilian tourist destinations, offering opportunities to promote local and regional development through partnerships with states, municipalities and private entities.
