You are a member of the office of an association? And you may be wondering if you are supposed to make a declaration in the prefecture after each general assembly?

To the question of whether to do a declaration in prefecture after each general meeting , Service-public.fr answers: no.

Indeed, each general meeting of the members of an association does not necessarily imply a declaration in prefecture.

On the other hand, certain modifications must be declared in prefecture, in particular in case of:

modification of the name or object of the association;
modification of the address of the head office and / or the address of management;
appointment of new officers (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer), name, surname, profession, domicile and nationality to be declared;
modification of the statutes.
