The treatments concerned: Sovaldi, Harvoni, Epclusa and Vosevi see their reduced price both in town pharmacy and hospital, the initial rates being considered too high.

The new prices of these drugs range from nearly € 8,300 (Sovaldi and Epclusa) to more than € 12,300 (Harvoni and Vosevi) for a box of 28 tablets, or between € 25,000 and € 37,000 for a cure. 12 weeks.

To know :

About 130 000 adults are infected with the hepatitis C virus in metropolitan France and some 75 000 of them would ignore it, according to estimates of the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) at the end of 2017. Indeed if it is potentially severe and deadly, this disease evolves silently for many years, with no specific signs or symptoms.
