Fairfield Library in the heart of Fairfield CBD is launching a monthly session for Fairfield City residents who require assistance with online myGov services.
Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone said being able to use myGov services is essential.
“Online services are the modern way to do business and generally have made our lives easier,” Mayor Carbone said.
“Online services are quicker and can be done from home however navigating online services can be difficult for everyone, especially for those who don’t speak English well or are not regular users of technology.
“I encourage residents who have any questions about how to access these vital online services to take advantage of Fairfield Library’s free myGov Help sessions.”
The myGov Help sessions will be held on the first Monday of each month starting at 1pm at Fairfield Library, 17 Kenyon Street, Fairfield. Interpreters are also available on request.
Fairfield Library also provides form filling services for residents who require literacy help. Library staff can help residents to complete forms and documents such as those from Centrelink, Department of Immigration and rental and housing applications. Registration is required.
