The solemn ceremony of bringing the first year cadets to the Oath was held on September 14 at a place especially honored in the city of Novokuznetsk – Boulevard of Heroes, erected in honor of the soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War.

Honorary guests of the ceremony were the chief of the GUFSIN of Russia in the Kemerovo region, colonel of internal service Andrey Popeto, representatives of the administration of the Governor of the Kemerovo region, the city of Novokuznetsk, the clergy and the public.

With a welcoming speech to the first-year students, the chief of the Kuzbass Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Major General of Internal Service Mikhail Kiselev addressed.

Cadets loyal to the Russian Federation and its people were sworn in from 23 regions of the country, from the Urals to the Kamchatka Territory. The oath “I Serve Russia, I Serve the Law!” Was pronounced by 160 first-year students of the Institute.

Among the first-year students who took the Oath, there are children who graduated from the school with a gold medal, athletes-dischargers, graduates of the cadet classes, successors of dynasties of the UIS officers and those who have already completed military service. Newly trained cadets worthy of a month passed a course of special initial training in the field.

On the day of swearing in to the Oath, the first year students were solemnly presented with certificates of the officers of the penitentiary system.

The ceremonial ceremony was completed with the passage of ceremonial calculations with a solemn march.
