A woman has died in hospital following a single vehicle collision in Clayton last month.
Investigators have been told a vehicle was travelling along Prince Charles Street when the driver lost control and crashed into two parked cars about 7.45pm on 27 June.
The driver and sole occupant of the Daewoo, a 79-year-old Clayton woman, was taken to hospital with injuries where she later died on 14 July.
No one else was injured during the incident.
Nunawading Highway Patrol detectives are continuing to investigate the collision.
