The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) has prepared to deal with industrial action from Public Service Association (PSA) members today.
General Manager Human Resources Richard Griffiths said: “We’ve got contingency plans in place and we’re confident that any impact to customers and MBIE services will be minimal. For customers it should be business as usual.
“As an employer, we recognise and respect the right of union members to take industrial action and understand that it’s not a decision taken lightly.
“We remain committed to continuing constructive discussions with the PSA and reaching an agreement that’s acceptable to both parties at the earliest possible opportunity.”
