As the senator stressed, stimulating the development of forestry transport infrastructure and technological renovation in the Russian timber industry complex are of particular importance for increasing the efficiency of use and intensification of forest reproduction. In the timber industry it is extremely important to introduce modern innovative scientific and technical achievements, to carry out modernization, oriented to the radical renewal of all activities.< >In this regard, Tatyana Gigel noted the need to adopt the Forestry Development Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030.< >Within the framework of the event, the issues of finalization and implementation mechanisms of the Strategy were considered, within the framework of which it is planned to substantially increase the contribution of the forestry complex to the economy of the country. The document was developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, the Federal Forestry Agency and the business community.
