Today at the V.Ya. Kikot Moscow University of the MIA of Russia, the State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Igor Zubov, had a meeting with the President of the Republic of Panama, Juan Carlos Varela Rodriguez.
The event was also attended by Chief of the V.Ya. Kikot Moscow University of the MIA of Russia, Lieutenant-General of Police Igor Kalinichenko, cadets and students studying at the educational institution.
Juan Varela in his welcoming speech noted that peace and comfort of citizens depend on the work of the police. He wished cadets and listeners an impeccable and fruitful service for the benefit of the country.
Igor Zubov expressed confidence in the development of cooperation between the two countries in law enforcement and thanked the high guest for his attention to the training of police personnel.
Juan Varela examined the university’s academic buildings, including the laboratory complex, the information and library center, the educational and scientific forensic complex, and also visited the cultural center and the museum. In memory of his visit, the President of the Republic of Panama left a note in the Book of Honored Guests of the MIA University.
