If you are in social housing, you may soon be concerned by the solidarity rent reduction scheme (RLS) accompanied by the decrease in the amount of your personalized housing assistance (APL). This is indeed provided for in Article 126 of the 2018 Finance Act which has just been completed by the publication in the Official Journal of several regulatory texts.
The decree published in the Official Gazette of February 28, 2018 specifies the decline of the APL which will be applied at the same time as the reduction of certain rents, this fall of the APL being fixed at 98% of the amount of the EPIRB.
The orders published the same day detail for their part:
on the one hand, the resource ceilings for tenants to benefit from the EPIRB and the monthly amount of the EPIRB in 2018;
on the other hand, taking into account the EPIRB in the calculation of the PLA.
To note :
The National Agency for Housing Information (Anil) indicates that these new measures (EPIRB and decline of the APL) should be put in place later in the first half of 2018 with a catch-up in the past months. The total amount to be paid to tenants is not expected to change substantially.
