Headline: Health committee members named
Secretary for Food & Health Prof Sophia Chan has reappointed Bernard Chan as Chairperson of the Committee on Reduction of Salt & Sugar in Food and Dr Mak Sin-ping as its Vice-Chairperson.
Two new members have been appointed and 10 incumbents will remain on the committee.
Prof Chan said: “The committee has been providing invaluable and practical advice to the Food & Health Bureau on initiatives to reduce the salt and sugar intake of the general public.
“I look forward to receiving advice from them in the future.”
She also thanked outgoing members for their contribution to the committee.
