Headline: Three arrested in connction with Kilburn murder

Detectives investigating the murder of 20-year-old Mohanna Abdhou have made three further arrests.

On Thursday, 15 June three women – [D – 20ys, E – 21ys and F – 25yrs] were arrested for conspiracy to commit murder. [D and E] have been bailed and [F] has been released under investigation pending further enquires.

Previously, a 21-year-old man [A] was arrested at the scene on Friday, 26 May. He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

A 19-year-old man [B] and a 20-year-old man [C] were arrested in west London on suspicion of murder in the early hours of Wednesday, 31 May. They have been bailed pending further enquiries.

A Crimestoppers reward is still on offer to anyone providing information to them that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the murder of Mohanna Abdhou. It is applicable only for information passed directly to Crimestoppers rather than the police.

On Friday, 26 May, police were called at 20:54hrs to reports that a woman had been shot on Malvern Road, NW6.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found Mohanna, who is known as ‘Montana’ to her friends, suffering from gunshot injuries.

She was pronounced dead at the scene at 21:34hrs. Her next-of-kin have been notified.

A post-mortem examination on Saturday, 27 May gave the cause of death as a single gunshot wound.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) are investigating, led by DCI Partridge.

Enquiries have established that Mohanna and her friends were approached by two males on bicycles. The suspects were both wearing dark coloured clothing and had their faces covered.

One of the suspects discharged a firearm towards the group and Mohanna was shot. The suspects fled along Malvern Road heading in the direction of Shirland Road, where they entered Shirland Mews at around 20:54hrs.

Detectives continue to appeal for information and witnesses.
