Police in Bexley Borough continue to appeal to trace a man, considered dangerous, who absconded while on escorted leave from a secure medical facility in Dartford.

Leonardo Bokesa, 54, was last seen at 12:30hrs on Friday, 12 May when he absconded from a member medical facility staff whilst at the Broadway, Bexleyheath.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned as Bokesa suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and does not have his medication with him.

Bokesa is described as black; around 5ft 10ins with a medium build and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black sweatshirt, a green coloured coat, black shoes with white soles, and carrying a black rucksack,

Police have released CCTV of Bokesa which shows him getting on a B16 bus in Welling at 11:51hrs on Friday 12 May before he absconded.

He has links to the Blackheath area and is believed to be using the bus network and may be travelling around central London.

Bokesa is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

If seen 999 should be called immediately.
