Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a rape in Ealing.

The incident happened between around 05:30hrs and 06:30hrs on Saturday, 13 May in parkland located between Stockdove Way, Ruislip Road East and Argyle Road in Perivale.

The allegation was made by a woman and relates to a lone male suspect.

The victim is being supported by specialist officers.

Detectives from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are investigating.

Officers wish to speak with anyone who saw the suspect – a young, black man wearing dark clothing – in the area on Saturday morning, or who saw anything suspicious. This suspect was last seen in the area of Ruislip Road East and Argyle Road at around 06:45hrs.

Anyone with information that may assist police should call the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command via 101.
