Headline: A working meeting was held in Moscow between the representatives of MIA GACI of Russia and General Administration of Organized crime control of MIA of the Republic of Belarus

As part of the implementation of the decision of the United Collegium of Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Union State, a working meeting of representatives of General Administration of Criminal Investigation of MIA of Russia and General Administration of Organized crime control of MIA of the Republic of Belarus took place in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The meeting was organized to discuss the preparation and planning of joint activities against the leaders and active participants of international organized criminal groups operating on the territory of the two countries.
The Russian delegation was led by the Police Colonel Alexander Matveev, the Chief a.i. of Administration of Ordinary Organized crime control of GACI MIA of Russia. The Belarusian delegation was led by the Militia Lieutenant Colonel Alexei Borushko, the Chief of the 2nd Administration of General Administration of Organized crime control of MIA of the Republic of Belarus.
The main focus of the meeting was on priority-setting in the field of counteraction to the leaders of the criminal environment operating in the territory of the two states.
A mutual understanding was reached on the necessity to conduct joint measures to suppress the activities of leaders and active participants of criminal communities that have transnational criminal connections and interests and have an active influence on the criminogenic situation in both countries.
The parties commended the results of organizational and practical cooperation during the working meeting.
